When you get quotes on your car or home insurance, you might find it difficult to compare them against each other - or to what you currently have.
Today we talked to someone who was moving to Michigan. He thought he had a better rate elsewhere, until he realized that he'd been given 6-month quotes from the other agent, and annual quotes from us.
We're glad to have him as a customer, but he almost paid too much because there can be so many variations between companies.
So when you get quotes, be sure to check things like the duration of the policy, and the coverage amounts. If you don't, you may end up paying a lot more than you had to.
