Selective at work

Last week, Andy mentioned Selective and the welcome addition it is to our home and auto insurance carrier list.  Our clients have been as pleased as we have with this addition.

Last week we had a chance to compete with American Family on a household that has insurance on a home, two autos, and a rental property.

Since this family was bundling their policies and qualified for the home/auto discount, Selective saved them 25% off their total annual American Family bill!  Just as important we added some needed property coverage.  All told the savings was in excess of $700 and I know they are happy to use that money elsewhere.

Give us a call for an insurance quote and see what Selective (or one of our other "A" rated carriers) can do for you!

Selective Insurance for Home and Auto!

We are excited to announce the addition of a new Home and Auto insurance company to our agency: Selective Insurance!

We've worked with Selevtive on Commercial Insurance accounts for the past few years with great success.  They have proven to be second to none on claims resolution and helpfulness, and they are always competitively priced.

We are one of only a few agencies in all of Northwest Ohio that can write home  insurance and auto insurance through Selective, and the results so far have been wonderful.  We are glad to add them to the growing list of "A" rated insurance companies that we can offer you.

Call for a free insurance quote to see if we can help you save on your insurance.  With the dozens of insurance companies we work with, we can ensure you save money without sacraficing quality or reliability.

What to do after a car accident

Sooner or later it will get cold, and snowy, and there will be more car accidents.  It's one of the things you come to terms with when you decide to live in the Toledo area.

As a broker for auto insurance we frequently get questions about what to do after a car accident.  One of our many carriers (Travelers) makes it simple:

    1. Move out of the way of traffic and turn on your hazard warning lights.

    2. Call the police even in a minor accident. If someone is injured, request medical assistance. If fire is involved, request fire department aid.

    3. Do not discuss the accident with anyone other than the police..

    4. Exchange necessary information with the other driver(s). Be sure to write down the other driver's name, address, phone number, license plate number and insurance information. Also write down the contact information of all witnesses.

    5. Report the accident as soon as possible. The faster you report your claim, the sooner we can get you back on the road.

If you are in an accident and the commotion creates confusion please call us.  We are here to help and want to make a difficult situation as simple as possible.
